License & Support Policy
[last updated: 29/04/2026]
Welcome to EasyWpTools.
This page explains how our plugin licensing, updates, downloads, support, and account access work before you purchase or use any of our products.
By purchasing, downloading, activating, or using any EasyWpTools product, you agree to this policy together with our website Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.
About Our Plugins
EasyWpTools plugins are available through Website Plugins.
Our plugins are developed for WordPress and, where relevant, WooCommerce.
Some plugins are available in both Free and Pro versions.
Pro versions may include:
- additional features
- advanced tools
- downloadable Pro packages
- translated language files
- license-based updates
- premium resources
- support access during the included support period
Our current licensed plugin range includes:
- EasyWpTools Security Pro
- EasyWpTools Free Up Space Pro
- EasyWpTools Optimize Pro
- EasyWpTools Website Migration Pro
- GTIN Manager & SKU Generator Pro
License Types
Our Pro plugins are sold with licenses that control access to plugin updates, downloads, support, and Pro functionality.
Available license types may vary by product page.
These may include:
- 1 year licenses
- multi-site licenses
- lifetime update licenses
- limited promotional plans
The product page at the time of purchase always controls the exact license terms for that product.
1 Year Licenses
Most licenses include a 12 month active license period from the purchase date.
During an active 1 year license, you may receive:
- plugin updates
- download access
- license key access
- support access for 12 months
- Pro resources where included
When the active period ends:
- updates may stop depending on the product license purchased
- some or all Pro features may be restricted depending on plugin design
- direct support ends after 12 months
- self-service help remains available through our Support Hub and documentation
Lifetime Licenses
Where a lifetime license is offered, it refers to update entitlement for that purchased license only.
Lifetime licenses include:
- lifetime plugin updates for the purchased license
- 12 months support from the purchase date
After the included support period ends, customers should use the Support Hub, readme files, FAQs, and self-service resources unless an exceptional account or access issue applies.
Lifetime does not mean unlimited personal support forever.
Support Availability
All licenses include 12 months support from the date of purchase, unless a product page clearly states otherwise.
Support availability may include:
- installation guidance
- activation help
- bug clarification
- update guidance
- general usage help
- account assistance related to purchases
After 12 months, direct support normally ends.
Customers should then rely on available self-service resources, including:
- Support Hub
- plugin documentation
- readme files
- FAQs
- tutorials
- knowledge base articles
Exceptional Support Cases
Even after the included support period has ended, we may still assist in limited exceptional situations.
Examples include:
- inability to access My Account
- inability to retrieve a previously purchased license key
- inability to download a previously purchased product
- billing or account ownership issues
- serious activation errors after a valid purchase
- account problems that prevent access to products already purchased
All exceptional requests are reviewed individually.
Extended one-to-one support is not guaranteed outside the included support period.
How License Expiry Works
Different plugins may behave differently after expiry depending on how that plugin is designed.
Examples may include:
Fully Locked Pro Plugins
Some plugins may disable Pro functionality when no valid license is present.
Pro features may remain unavailable until the license is renewed or reactivated.
Examples may include:
- EasyWpTools Free Up Space Pro
- EasyWpTools Security Pro
Partially Restricted Pro Plugins
Some plugins may continue working in part while advanced Pro-only features are restricted.
Restricted items may include:
- automation tools
- advanced settings
- scheduled tasks
- translation packages
- premium reports
- cloud features
- bulk tools
- future updates
Examples may include:
- GTIN Manager & SKU Generator Pro
- EasyWpTools Optimize Pro
- EasyWpTools Website Migration Pro
The exact behaviour depends on the plugin version, feature set, and license attached to that product.
License Validation
Licenses are validated using the customer email address associated with the purchase.
This email may be the same as the website email configured in:
WordPress → Settings → General
However, for plugin activation and validation, it must match the administrator user profile email used in:
WordPress Admin → Users
Because of this:
- use a valid email address during checkout
- ensure your administrator account email is correct
- update old or outdated administrator emails if needed
- contact us if you purchased using the wrong email address
- keep access to your purchase email where possible
Failure to use the correct administrator email may prevent successful license activation.
My Account Access
We strongly recommend using your customer account so you can access:
- plugin downloads
- license keys
- order history
- renewals where applicable
- billing records
- previously purchased products
Your account area is the fastest way to manage licenses and recover your purchases.
Free vs Pro Versions
Free and Pro versions are not the same product tier.
Free versions may include:
- core functionality
- basic workflows
- limited tools
- entry-level settings
Pro versions may include:
- advanced features
- automation tools
- premium settings
- advanced reports
- translation files
- downloadable packages
- updates during the valid license period
- support during the included support period
- premium resources where offered
Translation & Language Files
Many Pro plugins are translatable and may include ready-translated language files.
Please note:
- language availability may differ by plugin
- Free and Pro versions may include different translation resources
- some language files may only be supplied in Pro versions
- not all plugins include every language
Updates & Compatibility
We aim to keep our plugins compatible with the latest stable versions of:
- WordPress
- WooCommerce
We regularly review and update products as platform versions change.
However, we do not guarantee compatibility with:
- third-party plugins
- custom themes
- bespoke code
- heavily modified websites
- unusual server environments
- unsupported hosting setups
Every website is different, so universal compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
Documentation & Readme Files
All plugins include a readme.txt file with important usage guidance.
Where available, additional resources may include:
- setup guides
- feature explanations
- troubleshooting help
- workflow suggestions
- FAQs
- productivity tips
We strongly recommend reading available documentation before requesting assistance.
Pricing & Product Pages
Prices, features, license durations, and available plans may change over time.
The product page shown at the time of purchase is the controlling description for that purchase.
If a conflict exists between an older policy page and a current product page, the product page at purchase time will normally take priority.
Website Policies
Use of our website and plugins is subject to our policies.
By using our website, downloading a plugin, or making a purchase, you agree to the applicable:
- Terms and Conditions
- Privacy Policy
- Refund Policy
These pages are available through our website footer.
