License & Support Policy

Welcome to EasyWpTools.

This page explains how our plugin licensing, updates, downloads, and support work before you purchase or use any of our products.

About Our Plugins

EasyWpTools plugins are available through websiteplugins.co.uk.

Some plugins are available in both Free and Pro versions. Pro versions include additional features, translated language files, downloadable Pro packages, license-based updates, and support access where applicable.

All plugins are developed for WordPress and, where relevant, WooCommerce.

License Types

Our Pro plugins are sold with a license that controls access to Pro features, updates, downloads, and support.

1 Year Licenses

Most Pro plugins are sold on a 1 year license basis.

This means:

  • your license is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • you receive plugin updates while the license is active
  • you receive support while the license is active
  • once the license expires, Pro access is restricted according to the plugin’s design

Lifetime Licenses

Where a lifetime license is offered, it includes:

  • lifetime plugin updates
  • limited support period where stated on the product page

For example, where a lifetime license includes 1 year support, support ends after 12 months, while updates remain available for the lifetime of that license.

How License Expiry Works

Different plugins may behave differently after expiry depending on how that plugin is designed.

Fully Locked Pro Plugins

Some plugins, such as Free Up Space Pro, are designed to be locked when the license is no longer valid.

This means Pro functionality is no longer available until the license is renewed or reactivated.

Partially Locked Pro Plugins

Some plugins, such as GTIN Manager & SKU Generator Pro, may remain partially usable after expiry, while certain Pro-only capabilities remain locked.

Examples of restricted items may include:

  • advanced bulk tools
  • Pro-only automation tools
  • translation file access
  • Pro-only support features
  • future updates

The exact behaviour depends on the plugin and the Pro features attached to that product.

Product-Specific License Overview

GTIN Manager & SKU Generator Pro

  • sold as a 1 year license subscription
  • current price: £35.99 per year
  • support and updates remain available while the license is valid
  • after expiry, Pro-only capabilities remain locked according to the plugin design

Free Up Space Pro

  • sold as a 1 year license
  • current price: £29 per year
  • support and updates remain available while the license is valid
  • after expiry, the Pro plugin is intended to remain locked until renewed

EasyWpTools Optimizer Pro

Available license options include:

  • 1 website — £39 per year
  • 5 websites — £79 per year
  • 10 websites — £149 per year
  • 10 websites lifetime — £329

For yearly licenses:

  • support and updates remain available while the license is valid

For lifetime licenses:

  • lifetime updates are included
  • support is included for 1 year unless otherwise stated on the product page

License Validation

Licenses are validated using the customer email address associated with the purchase.

Because of this:

  • you must use a valid email address during checkout
  • you should make sure your email address is entered correctly
  • if you made a mistake when purchasing, contact us as soon as possible so we can help correct it

My Account Access

We strongly encourage users to create or use their account so they can access:

  • purchased plugin downloads
  • license keys
  • order history
  • future renewals where applicable

Your account area makes it easier to manage your products and retrieve your license details when needed.

Free vs Pro

Free and Pro versions are not the same product level.

In general:

Free versions may include

  • core plugin functionality
  • basic workflows
  • limited tools and settings

Pro versions may include

  • advanced features
  • additional automation tools
  • bulk actions
  • advanced reports
  • translated language files
  • Pro-only downloads
  • updates while licensed
  • Pro support access

The free version provides core GTIN and SKU management features.

The Pro version extends that with more advanced SKU capabilities, including features such as:

  • advanced SKU generation tools
  • bulk SKU assignment
  • bulk SKU removal and regeneration tools
  • additional language translation files
  • Pro-only downloadable language packages such as .pot and .mo files where supplied

Translation & Language Files

Our Pro plugins are translatable and include ready-translated popular languages, including language support for Latin and Cyrillic-based languages where available.

Please note:

  • translation availability may differ between Free and Pro versions
  • in some cases, translation files are only supplied with the Pro plugin
  • Free versions may not include .pot, .po, or .mo language packages

Updates & Compatibility

We aim to keep our plugins compatible with the latest stable versions of:

  • WordPress
  • WooCommerce

We regularly test and update plugins in line with newly released WordPress and WooCommerce versions.

However, we do not guarantee compatibility with:

  • third-party plugins
  • custom themes
  • bespoke code
  • modified WooCommerce environments
  • unusual hosting configurations

Because every website is different, compatibility with all third-party products cannot be guaranteed.

Documentation & Readme Files

All plugins include a readme.txt file with important usage instructions.

Where available, user guides and documentation pages may also include:

  • setup help
  • feature explanations
  • productivity tips
  • troubleshooting advice
  • recommended workflows
  • shortcuts to save time

We strongly encourage users to read the included documentation before requesting support.

Support Availability

Support is available according to the license purchased and the current license status.

Active yearly license

You may receive:

  • update access
  • Pro help resources where included

Expired yearly license

You may lose access to:

  • plugin updates
  • Pro support
  • some or all Pro functionality, depending on the plugin

Lifetime license

You receive:

  • lifetime updates where included
  • support for the period stated on the product page
