6. Customer Responsibility Before Use or Purchase

By downloading or purchasing, you confirm that you have checked:

  • you are using a compatible WordPress website
  • your hosting supports WordPress plugins
  • your server meets minimum requirements
  • you understand the plugin features
  • the product suits your needs
  • this is software, not a custom development service

7. Compatibility

Our plugins are tested with supported WordPress versions and common themes/plugins where reasonably practical.

We do not guarantee compatibility with every:

  • plugin
  • theme
  • hosting provider
  • browser
  • server setup
  • custom code setup
  • third-party service

Conflicts may occur when multiple plugins perform similar tasks.

8. License Use (Pro Products)

A Pro purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software according to the plan purchased.

Licenses may include limits such as:

  • website activations
  • update access period
  • support period
  • product usage restrictions

Sharing, reselling, redistributing, or abusing license keys is prohibited.

9. Support Scope and Support Hub

Our primary support resource for eligible Pro customers is the Support Hub.

Customers should use the Support Hub first before contacting us directly.

Direct support is mainly for issues not already covered in available Support Hub content.

Support Availability

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • Support Hub access is for Pro users only
  • free plugin users are not guaranteed support
  • support is limited to documented plugin features and standard troubleshooting

Support Does Not Include

  • custom coding
  • PHP snippets
  • theme edits
  • child theme development
  • server administration
  • third-party plugin debugging
  • bespoke requests
  • SEO services
  • custom integrations

We may update Support Hub content at any time.

10. Use at Your Own Risk / Modifications / Custom Code

All plugins are provided as software tools. You are responsible for how you install, configure, and use them.

We are not responsible for issues caused by:

  • misuse of the plugin
  • incorrect settings chosen by the user
  • deleting data or files using plugin tools
  • custom PHP snippets
  • code added through snippets plugins
  • child theme modifications
  • editing plugin files
  • altering plugin source code
  • unauthorised modifications
  • third-party developer changes
  • custom integrations
  • user error

This applies to both free and Pro users.

Modifying plugin code may break functionality, prevent updates, or void support eligibility.

11. Updates and Changes

We may release updates, fixes, improvements, feature changes, or discontinue products at any time.

We aim to support current WordPress environments but do not guarantee support for outdated systems forever.

12. Refund Policy Incorporated

Paid purchases are also subject to our Refund Policy.

The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions and applies to all eligible purchases.

Because products are digital goods, refund eligibility may be limited after access, download, or license delivery, subject to applicable law.

Free products have no purchase price and are not eligible for refunds.

13. Privacy

Use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Backups

You are responsible for creating backups before installing, updating, or using any plugin.

We are not responsible for loss caused by failure to maintain backups.

15. Fair Use / Abuse / Fraud

We reserve the right to suspend licenses, restrict access, deny support, or refuse service where there is evidence of:

  • fraud
  • abuse
  • piracy
  • chargeback misuse
  • harassment
  • license sharing
  • repeated bad-faith claims
  • breach of these terms

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • indirect loss
  • loss of profits
  • data loss
  • downtime
  • business interruption
  • plugin conflicts
  • hosting failures
  • user mistakes
  • custom code issues
  • altered plugin files
  • third-party software issues

Our total liability for paid products shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product where permitted by law.

17. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms removes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your country or region.

Where mandatory rights apply, those rights continue to apply.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer laws apply.

19. Severability

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in effect.

20. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, or Support Hub content at any time.

Continued use of our website or products means you accept the updated versions.

21. Support Requests and Response Policy

Our primary support resource is the Support Hub, which is made available to eligible users through available access points such as the plugin dashboard, our website navigation, and relevant documentation including readme files.

The Support Hub is provided so users can quickly find answers to common questions without waiting for direct support.

Because many common topics are already covered, we only respond to emails or contact requests that reasonably require a direct response.

We may choose not to reply to messages where the answer is already clearly available in existing Support Hub content or documentation.

Examples may include:

  • where do I download my plugin
  • where do I find my license key
  • how do I log in to My Account
  • how do I install the plugin
  • other topics already covered in the Support Hub

This policy helps us focus direct support time on genuine technical issues, verified bugs, account problems not solved by available guidance, and matters that require individual review.

Users are expected to check the Support Hub before submitting a support request.

The availability of Support Hub content through multiple visible locations means these resources are considered reasonably accessible and not hidden.

23. Plugin Product Scope, User Control, Support Boundaries, and Responsibility

EasyWpTools sells digital software products in the form of downloadable WordPress plugins.

When purchasing a plugin, the customer is purchasing access to the plugin file(s), such as a downloadable .zip file, together with any included license access, updates, documentation, and feature availability stated on the product page.

Our plugins are software tools designed to be installed on compatible WordPress websites. They are not “done-for-you” website management services.

What We Provide With Plugin Purchases

Depending on the product purchased, we may provide:

  • downloadable plugin files
  • plugin updates
  • compatibility updates
  • bug fixes
  • access to plugin documentation
  • Support Hub access for eligible users
  • feature improvements over time

We test our plugins with current supported versions of WordPress and common themes where reasonably practical.

However, no plugin can be guaranteed to work identically across every possible website environment.

User Control of Plugin Settings and Usage

Each website is different. Plugin settings, options, and feature use are controlled by the customer.

It is the customer’s responsibility to decide:

  • which settings to enable or disable
  • how features should be configured
  • when to run plugin tools
  • how the plugin should be used on their specific website
  • whether settings are suitable for their theme, plugins, hosting, and website goals

We do not provide guaranteed personalised setup, strategy, or configuration decisions for each customer website unless explicitly agreed as a separate service.

Support Boundaries

We provide guidance, documentation, and support relating to the plugin itself and its documented features.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, plugin support does not include:

  • deciding the best settings for your website
  • full website optimisation consulting
  • custom plugin configuration for your business
  • theme customisation
  • custom code development
  • troubleshooting issues caused by unrelated third-party plugins or themes
  • teaching general WordPress usage beyond plugin scope

We may provide general guidance, but final configuration decisions remain the customer’s responsibility.

Compatibility and Third-Party Environments

Our plugins are tested with current WordPress versions and common themes, but we do not guarantee compatibility with every:

  • theme
  • plugin
  • hosting provider
  • custom server setup
  • custom code environment
  • page builder
  • security system
  • caching setup
  • outdated WordPress version
  • outdated PHP version

Conflicts may occur, especially where multiple plugins perform similar tasks.

Website Issues, Damage, or Performance Problems

We are not responsible for issues caused by:

  • incorrect plugin configuration chosen by the user
  • misuse of plugin features
  • failure to keep backups
  • custom code or snippets
  • edited plugin files
  • altered plugin source code
  • third-party plugin conflicts
  • theme conflicts
  • outdated WordPress or PHP versions
  • hosting limitations
  • server restrictions
  • user error

If a customer believes our plugin directly caused a defect in an otherwise compatible environment, we may investigate through reasonable troubleshooting.

Where required by applicable law, valid remedies remain available for proven defects in the plugin itself.

Separate Services

Where we separately advertise services such as migration, restoration, or other website services, those services are distinct from plugin purchases and may have separate terms.

24.Future WordPress Compatibility

We regularly test and update our plugins against current supported versions of WordPress where reasonably practical at the time of release.

However, WordPress, PHP, themes, plugins, hosting environments, and web technologies continually change.

For that reason, we do not guarantee that any plugin will remain compatible with all future versions of:

  • WordPress
  • PHP
  • WooCommerce
  • themes
  • plugins
  • hosting platforms
  • browsers
  • third-party services

Future platform updates may introduce breaking changes, deprecated functions, new security restrictions, or conflicts outside our control.

We may release updates to maintain compatibility where commercially reasonable, but we are not obligated to provide updates indefinitely or for every future platform release.

Customers are responsible for:

  • testing updates before applying them to live websites
  • maintaining backups
  • using supported environments
  • reviewing changelogs and update notes where provided

Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory consumer rights that apply under local law.
