Troubleshooting
If you experience problems installing WP Easy Migration, check the following common issues.
Plugin does not appear after upload
Make sure the plugin folder is uploaded correctly to:
/wp-content/plugins/plugin-name
After uploading, go to the WordPress Plugins page and activate the plugin.
Plugin cannot be activated
If activation fails, your server may not meet the minimum requirements. Check the readme.txt of the plugin for minimum requirements, but usually is:
- WordPress 6.0 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher
Check your hosting control panel or contact your hosting provider if your server uses an older PHP version.
Plugin upload fails
If uploading the plugin ZIP fails, your server may have low upload limits.
Increase these PHP settings if possible:
upload_max_filesizepost_max_sizememory_limit
Plugin menu not visible in WordPress
After activation, the plugin menu should appear in the WordPress admin menu as The Plugin Name.
If it does not appear, refresh the admin page or log out and log back in.
Changelogs
